MadCasino in Ireland: Player Guide

MadCasino has no Irish licence. Its only licence comes from the gaming authority of Anjouan (Union of the Comoros), which lists Softon Ltd with licence ALSI-202409012-FI1, issued on 7 September 2024 and valid until 6 September 2027. That licence lets the company operate under Anjouan rules; it gives Irish players none of the protections an Irish licence would.

Irish gambling law is in the middle of a reset. The Gambling Regulation Act 2024 created the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI), which is phasing in a single licensing system for betting and gaming, online included. Before that, remote bookmakers were licensed by Revenue under the Betting Acts, while online casino games sat in an older and patchier framework. The new rules are aimed at operators and advertisers, not at individual players.

Winnings from gambling are generally not taxed for players in Ireland; betting duty is charged to operators. The minimum age is 18. MadCasino's terms forbid VPNs and proxies that hide where you are, and a breach can lead to a frozen account and a withheld balance.

Countries MadCasino Excludes

Section 3.1.2 of the terms bars residents of, and visitors from, the USA, the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, Australia, Cyprus, Spain, Austria, the Comoros, Germany and Sweden. The same clause covers the Dutch Caribbean (Aruba, Bonaire, Saba, Sint Eustatius, Sint Maarten and Curaçao), FATF-blacklisted and sanctioned countries, and any jurisdiction blacklisted by Curaçao or the Anjouan authority. The operator may refuse players from elsewhere at its discretion. Ireland is not named, but the lists in the terms and the KYC policy differ slightly, so absence from one list is no guarantee.

The home page shows Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Bitcoin; the footer adds American Express and more crypto, and the FAQ mentions e-wallets and bank transfer. The cashier you see after logging in depends on country and account currency. For Irish players the offers and limits are at least published in euro, the local currency; under the terms the account currency depends on your country, so confirm it at sign-up.

Deposit Options

The FAQ says the minimum deposit depends on the method and appears on the Deposit page. Most deposits land instantly or within minutes, and the casino charges nothing. Revolut, widely used in Ireland, is not among the logos. Many Irish banks let you switch on a gambling block for your card in their app; if you have done that, the deposit will be declined, which is the block working as intended. Never use someone else's card or account to get round it: the terms forbid third-party payments, and the casino can void such a deposit together with any winnings. For crypto, always copy the address shown at that moment, because older addresses may no longer be valid.

Withdrawal Process and Times

The minimum withdrawal by bank transfer, e-wallet or crypto is €100, and the caps are €1,000 a day and €10,000 a month. Only one request can be pending per method, and you can submit one request every 24 hours. Processing usually takes up to three banking days; KYC checks, bank holidays and payment-provider delays can stretch that. Your total bets must at least equal your last deposit, and your first deposit must be wagered once. Daily winnings are separately capped at €100,000, a different rule from the withdrawal limit, so a large win is paid out over several days. Payouts normally go back to the method you deposited with; under the AML rules a different payout method needs supporting documents, and nothing is paid to third-party accounts. The casino charges no withdrawal fee, though crypto network fees and your bank's charges can still trim the amount.

KYC applies before any withdrawal and once lifetime deposits pass €2,000: a valid passport or photo driving licence, a selfie holding the same document, and a bank statement or utility bill no older than three months. Reviews usually take about 48 hours. The full rules are on our payments page.

Promotions are grouped into four packages: two for new players and two weekly ones. Each opens into steps with their own match, cap and wagering, and each step has its own Claim button. No promo code appears on any card, and the caps below are the euro figures printed on the offer cards.

Slots Package: First to Fifth Deposit

Step one pays 200% up to €500 with 10x wagering, so a €250 deposit already reaches the cap. Steps two and three pay 150% up to €1,000 and €2,000 with only 5x, step four 100% up to €3,000 with 10x, and step five 177% up to €1,000 with 10x. You activate each step separately in Promotions before the matching deposit. The cards do not give a minimum deposit, a claim window, or say whether wagering counts the bonus alone or deposit plus bonus, so read the step's terms when you claim. With a bonus running, bets are capped at €10 a spin, bonus buys are banned, and winnings you can convert are limited to 25 times the bonus.

Sports Package

If you would rather bet, the sports package replaces the slots one: 100% up to €500, 50% up to €1,000 and 100% up to €2,000, each with 5x wagering. The money works only in the sportsbook. Every single bet placed with it needs decimal odds of at least 1.80, and the terms treat lower odds as a breach that can cost you the winnings. Conversion is capped at 10 times the bonus, and the €10 maximum bet applies here too. The ten listed sports do not include horse racing or GAA, so check that the markets you actually follow are there before choosing this package.

Weekly Reloads and VIP Cashback

Once the welcome steps are used, four weekly slots reloads take over, together worth 550% and up to €7,500: a 100% Wednesday reload capped at €1,000 with 20x wagering, then three at 25x — Friday (200%, €1,000), Saturday (150%, €2,000) and Sunday (100%, €3,500). Bettors get a Tuesday Sports Boost (100% up to €500) and a Friday Sports Reload (100% up to €1,000), both at 7x. Only one bonus can be active at a time. The 20% cashback on the home page is reserved for VIP customers.

Free Spins and Promo Codes

None of the four current packages includes free spins; every step is a percentage match on a deposit, and no spins are given on registration. No promo code is needed either. Be careful with third-party sites advertising "exclusive" MadCasino codes or no-deposit spins: such offers do not appear on the casino's own pages, and older copies of the terms with different wagering (for example 30x or a €2 maximum bet) are out of date. Always compare an offer with the live Promotions page.

Bonus Terms Worth Checking

• Deposit and bonus sit in a bonus balance; cancel before your first bet and the deposit goes back to cash.
• €10 is the most you can stake while a bonus runs; anything bigger voids the winnings it produces.
• Winnings convert to cash up to 25 times a deposit bonus or 10 times a sports bonus.
• Buying bonus features is off the table until the bonus is finished.
• Immortal Romance, Aviator, Plinko, Mines, Chicken Road and every live casino game are among the exclusions.

Sign-up runs over two short screens. The terms ask for a mobile number, email, username and password alongside the other form fields, and the name must be your real legal one; changing it later goes through support only.

Login Problems and Fixes

Password not accepted? Use Forgot password? and follow the link in the email, checking the spam folder if it does not arrive. On Android, clearing Chrome's cache and site data usually fixes a page that never finishes loading. iPhone users can disable Safari's content blockers for the site or switch to Chrome. On a Windows PC, an outdated browser or a strict security add-on may stop the login window from opening; update it or try a private window. Do not use a VPN to get round anything: the terms forbid it and the account can be frozen. If nothing works, email support@madcasino.io from your registered address with your device, browser and the exact error message.

Type your address exactly as it appears on the bank statement or utility bill you will upload later, Eircode included, because it should match the document you upload. If the country list in the form does not offer Ireland, stop there and ask support rather than picking another country.

No official iOS or Android app was found. MadCasino's About page says all games run in the browser without downloads, and the FAQ confirms the site works on phones and tablets. We did not test the mobile layout ourselves. Do not install APK files or "mirror apps" the casino has not confirmed. "Add to Home Screen" gives you a shortcut that updates itself, not an installed app. The archived home page showed a bottom bar on phones with Casino, Live, Join, Search and Promo; live video can use plenty of data, so Wi-Fi is safer.

How MadCasino Differs

Most casinos tie one welcome bonus to the first deposit. MadCasino spreads its slots package over five deposits, each with its own wagering, so the 777% headline is the sum of 200%, 150%, 150%, 100% and 177%, and the €7,500 is the sum of five caps. That suits players who were going to make several deposits anyway; a single large top-up only unlocks step one.

The sign-up screen also stands out. You can take the slots package, the sports package (250% up to €3,500 over three deposits) or neither. Under the terms, deposit and bonus stay in a bonus balance until wagering is done, so anyone who wants quick access to their money is usually better off without a bonus.

For an Irish player the bigger difference is regulatory. Under the 2024 Act, Irish-licensed operators will answer to the GRAI and its exclusion register. At MadCasino, disputes and self-exclusion go through the casino's own support team and nowhere else, and that matters more than any bonus percentage.

Finally, the look: a Wild West theme with a sheriff mascot, a wooden-sign welcome banner and seasonal collections such as Oktoberfest Fortune and Haunted Spins. Behind the theme, the lobby draws on Play'n GO, Microgaming, Hacksaw, IGT and Novomatic, with live tables from Vivo, XPG, 7Mojos and Iconic21.

The lobby mixes land-based classics with popular online titles. The "Popular slots" row shows Book of Dead, 9 Masks of Fire, Cleopatra and Wanted Dead or a Wild, and the full lobby can be filtered by studio. MadCasino does not publish a total game count, and RTP, stake ranges and volatility are not shown in the lobby; we did not open the games, so the table marks them as not disclosed. Several popular titles do not count towards bonus wagering — check the list before playing them with bonus money.

Themed collections make browsing easier: One-Cent Wonders for small stakes, Greek Mythology and Cosmic Reels by theme, and In-game bonuses for slots with built-in bonus rounds. Rainbow Riches, a long-time favourite on Irish and British high streets, sits in the main lobby. The numbers on collection cards (such as "+165") are preview labels, not the size of the catalogue.

Is there blackjack? Mostly live: Bar Blackjack 3 (Winfinity Live), Gravity Blackjack (Iconic21) and Las Vegas Blackjack (Vivo) appear on the home page. The FAQ also mentions RNG table games and video poker.

Which roulette tables? Galaxy Auto Roulette (XPG), 500x Cyber Auto Roulette, Turkish Roulette and 777x Galaxy Roulette (7Mojos Live), plus Oracle Twister Roulette (Vivo).

Any crash games? Yes, in a separate Crash games collection. Aviator and Chicken Road are excluded from bonus wagering.

Do table games help clear a bonus? No. Roulette, sic bo, baccarat, live games and video poker do not count, so play them with cash and check the table limits first. Beyond blackjack and roulette, Dragon Tiger from 7Mojos Live is the only other live card game shown on the home page.

Live tables come from mid-sized studios: Winfinity Live, Iconic21, XPG, 7Mojos Live and Vivo on the home page. No Evolution or Pragmatic Live tables were seen, which matters if you are used to their game shows. Table limits are not shown in the lobby, and we did not test the tables on any device. Automatic wheels such as Galaxy Auto Roulette spin without a human dealer. Live bets never count towards a casino bonus.

The sportsbook lists ten sports: soccer, tennis, basketball, table tennis, esports, volleyball, MMA, ice hockey, baseball and cricket. Horse racing, greyhounds and GAA are not among them, which rules MadCasino out for the bets many Irish punters place most often. A separate Predictions section opens prediction markets, where you take a position on whether an event will happen. The book loads in an embedded widget, so markets, Cash Out and bet builders could not be confirmed from public pages; the rules are published as a PDF. Bonus bets need odds of 1.80 or more.

MadCasino mentions a VIP programme, but its levels and rewards were not fully described when we checked. The only public detail is a "Cashback 20%" banner with a note that cashback is for VIP customers only. There is no table of tiers, points or turnover thresholds, and the site does not say whether VIP status comes by invitation or automatically.

The cashback rules are missing too: whether 20% is calculated on net losses or on stakes, how often it is paid, whether it is capped, and whether it arrives as cash or as a bonus with wagering. Personal account managers, birthday gifts and higher VIP withdrawal limits are not mentioned anywhere on madcasino6.io, so we do not list them.

A regular player should leave cashback out of the budget. If VIP status interests you, ask live chat how it is awarded, how the 20% is worked out and whether VIP players can withdraw more than €1,000 a day, and get the answer confirmed by email. If a "VIP invitation" lands in your inbox, check that it really comes from the madcasino.io domain before clicking anything. Treat any cashback as a perk, never as a reason to keep playing: it does not cover the full loss.

No tournaments were running at our last check. The home page, menu and the four Promotions packages show deposit bonuses only, with no leaderboards, prize pools or schedules. Game studios sometimes run network promotions that appear inside the game window instead. We will update this section when leaderboard events appear. After logging in, the Promotions page is where new packages show up first, and the game window of slots from studios with network campaigns is the other place to look.

Before joining any future tournament, look at the prize pool, the qualifying games, the minimum bet and whether prizes carry wagering, and set a separate budget: chasing a leaderboard place is a classic way to play longer than planned.

Anyone can verify the licence: Softon Ltd's entry in the Anjouan gaming authority's public register shows B2C licence ALSI-202409012-FI1 with the status Valid, an issue date of 07.09.2024, expiry on 06.09.2027 and madcasino.io among the covered domains. There is no Irish licence, so neither the GRAI nor any other Irish body can step in during a dispute. The site uses HTTPS, and the terms say two-factor authentication may be offered (not confirmed). KYC and AML checks run at three levels, and unanswered AML questions for 30 days can close an account. The casino calls its slots RTP-certified but names no testing laboratory.

Safer Gambling Tools

The responsible gaming page lists deposit, bet, loss and session limits plus a transaction history. Deposit and bet limits run from 24 hours to one week; you can lower them at any time but raise them only when the period ends. A cool-down of 1 to 48 hours stops deposits and play while leaving withdrawals open. Self-exclusion, from one day to indefinite, is requested by email from your registered address to support@madcasino.io; a chat message alone is not processed. During self-exclusion you cannot log in or withdraw, so take your balance out first. A future Irish exclusion register under the 2024 Act would cover Irish-licensed operators, not this site, while a gambling block on your bank card stops card payments whatever the site's licence. In practice, for a player in Ireland this means no Irish body will handle a complaint and none of the protections planned for Irish-licensed operators apply here. Take screenshots of your balance, the bonus terms and the cashier history, set your own deposit limit, and finish KYC before depositing larger amounts.

Live chat is the main channel; the Contact page says it runs Monday to Sunday, 24/7. That is the casino's own claim, and we did not time any replies. Written requests go to support@madcasino.io and complaints to complaints@madcasino.io. There is no phone line. The chat button sits in the sidebar on desktop. Keep messages short and specific — username, amount, date and payment method — and confirm anything important by email so you have a dated record. Self-exclusion requests must come by email from your registered address. Chat is the quickest way to ask for a limit or a cool-down.

Making a Complaint

Raise the problem in live chat first. Under the dispute policy, chat complaints should be settled within two weeks, and complex cases get a written update within eight weeks. If chat does not resolve it, write to complaints@madcasino.io and include your username, the date, the game or transaction involved and screenshots. Email complaints can take up to 60 working days. Deadlines: seven days for game results, one month for other issues and 365 days for further disputes. No independent dispute service is named, and Irish bodies will not handle a complaint against an unlicensed foreign site, so keep every message.

On Trustpilot, the madcasino.io page now reads "This profile has been removed", which leaves no public rating to cite. Below are typical player opinions about the published rules, a mix of praise and complaints, not verified reports.
